Pennyburn car park line painting works update

Unfortunately, due to ongoing poor weather conditions and issues with vehicles remaining in affected car parks, line painting works in Pennyburn have now been completely postponed.

Works commenced yesterday morning up to Daljarrock, however heavy rainfall and winds yesterday afternoon made it unsafe and impractical for the contractor to carry out the painting works. While the contractor attended the site from early this morning, they were also unable to begin work in some locations due to vehicles remaining parked within the affected car parks.

Our contractor has confirmed they will not attend on Wednesday 28 October or Thursday, 29 October as the weather forecast is not suitable for carrying out the works safely or effectively. New dates are currently being arranged, and we will share an update as soon as these have been confirmed.

We appreciate this may be disappointing, but the works can only be completed when weather conditions allow and access to the car parks is available.
