An introduction to Freedom of Information

Find out what information you can ask us for, what we already publish, and how to make a Freedom of Information request. We aim to make it easy for you to access the information you need. 

What is Freedom of Information?

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives everyone the right to ask for information held by housing associations and co-operatives in Scotland. 

What information can I access?

You can ask for information we hold, unless there is a legal reason why we cannot share it.

You can access information published on our website about:

  • Our services and how we operate.
  • Our policies and procedures.
  • Our performance and how we are doing.
  • How we spend money and use resources.
  • How we are governed and managed.

If you cannot find the information you need, you can make a Freedom of Information request.
