Join our Board

It brings together people with different skills and experiences, including tenants, to make sure:

• customers are at the heart of everything we do
• money is spent wisely
• services continue to improve

Decisions include things like:

• investing in new and existing homes
• improving customer services, including digital tools
• setting priorities for the organisation

As a Board member, you will:

• attend meetings every two months (usually evenings, at our Irvine office)
• review performance and plans
• help make informed decisions about our services
• ensure we meet regulatory standards
• challenge and support the organisation to improve

All Board member roles are voluntary. We will cover reasonable expenses so you can take part.

By joining, you can:

• influence decisions that affect your home and community
• represent the views of other tenants
• gain new skills and experience
• work with others to make a real difference

You’ll be part of a supportive team and receive guidance and training to help you succeed.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• honest and reliable
• passionate about improving services
• able to listen and understand different views
• confident sharing opinions and asking questions
• willing to learn and work as part of a team

You don’t need to be an expert — we’re interested in your perspective as a tenant.

We’ll support you every step of the way with:

• a full induction programme
• ongoing training and development
• access to information to help you make decisions
• support from staff and other Board members
