We’re absolutely delighted to share that our award‑winning Housing First for Families team attended the Aico Community Awards 2026 last week, where they were proudly shortlisted in the Resident Engagement category.
This recognition reflects the team’s compassion, dedication and unwavering commitment to supporting families across our communities. Although we didn’t take home a win this time, being shortlisted and recognised on a national stage is a huge achievement for the service and the families we support.
What Housing First for Families does
Our team provides intensive, person‑centred support to families who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of losing their home. By offering stability, advocacy, practical support and a safe place to call home, the team helps families rebuild their lives and create long‑term, sustainable futures.
Clair Christie, Housing Manager, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised at this level. The nomination alone highlights the hard work our team puts in to support families, and it’s a privilege to stand alongside so many inspiring services from across the UK.”
The event celebrated outstanding projects and people who are driving positive change, and we’re proud to have been part of it.
Congratulations to all the worthy winners — your work is making communities safer, stronger and more supported.
