We are delighted to announce that the Pennyburn Retrofit Project has been shortlisted for the National Large Scale Project Award at the National Energy Efficiency Awards.

Adding to this achievement, we have also been shortlisted for the prestigious National Housing Association Award, recognising our commitment to improving energy efficiency, investing in homes and delivering positive outcomes for our customers and communities.

The double shortlist follows our success at the Scottish Energy Efficiency Awards in June, where the Pennyburn Project was named Large Scale Project of the Year.

Delivered in partnership with Union Technical Services, the Pennyburn Project has seen significant investment in improving the energy performance of homes, helping to create warmer, more comfortable living environments for residents while supporting wider sustainability goals. The project demonstrates what can be achieved through strong partnership working, innovation and a shared focus on enhancing the quality of homes for customers.

The national recognition highlights the dedication and expertise of everyone involved in the project and places both the organisation and the Pennyburn Project among the UK’s leading examples of energy efficiency best practice.
