Football Fun Day Success in Kilwinning

Our Football Fun Day in Kilwinning was delivered in partnership with Cunninghame Housing Association, Elite Touch Football and Kilwinning Community Sports Club.

The event welcomed children, young people and families from across the local community, providing a fun and inclusive environment where participants could develop new skills, make new friends and take part in a range of football activities.

The day encouraged active lifestyles and gave young people an opportunity to build confidence while enjoying sport in a safe and supportive setting.

Family Fun Day Brings Communities Together in Dumfries

Meanwhile, families from across Dumfries gathered at The Crichton for a Family Fun Day, organised in partnership with Cunninghame Housing Association, Loreburn Housing Association and Wheatley Homes South.

Residents enjoyed a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the day, with opportunities to connect with neighbours, spend quality time with family and access information and support from local organisations.

The event created a welcoming atmosphere and demonstrated the positive impact that partnership working can have in bringing communities together.

Working in Partnership to Support Communities

Both events highlighted the value of collaboration, with housing providers, community organisations and local partners working together to create meaningful opportunities for tenants.

By listening to feedback from customers and responding to requests for more local activities, Riverside Scotland and its partners have helped create opportunities that support wellbeing, reduce social isolation and strengthen community spirit.
