We’re delighted to recognise Housing First for Families Officers, Amanda Robinson and Emma Ward for proudly representing Riverside Scotland at the recent Homeless Network Scotland Conference.

We nominated them for the Heart of Support Awards, which honour outstanding work supporting people during the housing emergency. While they weren’t shortlisted this year, their impact didn’t go unnoticed. Chief Executive, Maggie Brünjes personally invited them to the celebration dinner and conference, saying:

“While you were not selected as an award recipient this year, your remarkable contributions and dedication shone brightly, earning you a well-deserved place among our nominees.”

They also met with our Chair, Jim Strang, who shared:

“Amanda and Emma—thank you for your passion, commitment, and the difference you make every day. You truly embody the heart of support”. 👏💙
