Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration that takes place from 2nd to 8th June. It’s a time to recognise and thank the millions of volunteers across the UK who dedicate their time to making a difference in their communities. This week is not only about acknowledging their incredible contributions but also inspiring others to give volunteering a try and highlighting the positive impact volunteers have on our communities.

We’re excited to shine a light on the many volunteers within our communities throughout this week and are looking for nominations. If you know someone in your community who gives their time and makes a difference, please email or call Gavin Wiffen, Customer and Community Engagement Officer. We will be featuring those nominated on our website and social channels throughout Volunteers’ Week, so spread the word and encourage your friends and neighbours to nominate volunteers in their area.

To show our appreciation, nominated volunteers will be entered into a prize draw where three winners will be selected at random. Each winner will receive a £100 shopping voucher as a thank you for their dedication and hard work. Let’s come together to celebrate and support the amazing volunteers who make our communities better places to live.

How to Nominate:

1. Identify a volunteer in your community who has made a significant impact.
2. Contact Gavin Wiffen by email at [email protected] or by phone on 07970 348 724 with the volunteer’s name and contact details and a brief description of their contributions.
3. The opening date for entries is 8 May 2025. The closing date is midnight on 15 May 2025 Entries received after this time will not be valid. Full T&Cs are available here.
