Willow Brook Extra Care Scheme. Tyne & Wear

We’re working with developers Galliford Try to provide comfortable, contemporary and affordable homes for the over 55s who are specifically in need of care. The apartments are luxury, open plan units with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Residents also benefit from fantastic communal features that anybody can use, it’s a great way to socialise with neightbours as well. The complex will boast a full catering kitchen so there’s no need to worry about food, plus activity room, guest room, a hair salon and treatment room as well as a laundry. With 79 apartments available this will be a large offering in the area for affordable renting options. The original site was a high priority area to develop for Sunderland City Council due to ASB problems and the building itself was derelict.
